 Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from West Virginia University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in the states of Maryland and Virginia.

Rebecca’s passion for healing work deepened during her first year away at undergraduate school, when her parents separated. This period led to her to her major in Family Studies, then to her first job in the field working with youth. Her work with youth and families confirmed her commitment to the field of social work.

Six years into her career as a clinical social worker, Rebecca began to notice a plateau in symptom relief for many clients experiencing trauma. This prompted her to explore somatic and energetic approaches to healing. She became a certified Zumba instructor, a Reiki Master Teacher, and a Biofield Energy Healer. Through her training in energy healing, Rebecca experienced relief from her own longstanding nervous system symptoms that had persisted despite engagement in evidence-based clinical care. This transformation motivated her to share and study these modalities, with the goal of expanding access to integrative, body- and biofield-based healing approaches.
